Bit of a Tight Fit!

As you know I had my appointment for adjustments and what-not on the 7th November.
Now, sure I expect my teeth to be sore, I even expect to not be able to eat particularly hard foods that week. But what I didn't expect is for it to have been 14 days later and still be struggling with a sandwich!!

Nice, sweet soft cupcake...ruined as my stupid teeth couldn't grind down those crispy sugary bits on top!

Still, I'd chose these overly-tight braces over the plastic chain-runners I had any day!

Hope everyone's having a more eventful week than I am!

  1. MMM Sophie that looks delicious! This is probably a good training/preview of how weak your teeth/jaw will be when you get your jaw surgery done. I still cant fully bite into food with my front teeth. I'm at day 33 though.. so eventually it will get easier I am sure:)

    1. You know, I have crazy dreams about after surgery, biting in to something too soon and all my teeth fall out! I always dream my teeth fall or crumble out - which is weird, but I'm actually seriously afraid of damaging the teeth/jaw after surgery!

    2. Haha, sorry to laugh. I think I'm lucky to not have had any nightmares yet. Don't worry, its not to bad, your teeth get stronger every day. :) It's as if you got your braces tightened as MUCH as possible... except without the pain... just the weak bite lol

  2. Awww Sophie! Hope the pain goes away soon for you. whenever my teeth are particularly sore I use it as a brilliant excuse to eat ice cream for every meal!

My jeans don't like that diet too much but my teeth do!
